I am offering cheesemaking classes for the month of December and January.

If you have 2 friends to come with you it will make a total of 3 people for a class. You can pick the day and time and I will work with you. I do this because it is a long trip to Port Townsend for a lot of folks, several have had to use the ferry system. I will also do a wait list to get at least 3 students if you come alone.  Cheesemaking Classes:

Beginner Cheesemaking: I will teach you how to make Chévre, a soft goat milk cheese, Queso Blanco also known as Panir, and Feta. All three cheeses are made in different ways to give you experience. You will take home some cheeses made in class. Class will take about 3 hours. Cost is $50.00 each.

Advanced Cheesemaking: The class will learn to make cheddar type and blue type cheeses.

 Soapmaking Classes:

I am also offering soapmaking classes at $40.00 per person. The class takes about 2 - 2 1/2 hours. You go home with 3 bars of soap made in class. If you have your own molds, bring them, and if you have an essential oil that you like bring that too.

Arrangements can be made to do both classes in one day if it is a long trip for you.
